Option 4 : 1, 2 and 3

Calculation:

A bill for ₹1,840 is paid in the denominations of ₹50, ₹20 and ₹10 notes. 50 notes in all are used.

1. 25 notes of ₹50 are used and the remaining are in the denominations of ₹20 and ₹10.

25 notes of ₹50 = 25 × 50 = Rs.1250

Remaining amount = 1840 - 1250 =590

So, Rs. 590 cannot be paid in the combination of ₹20 and ₹10 notes.

2. 35 notes of ₹20 are used and the remaining are in the denominations of ₹50 and ₹10.

35 notes of ₹20 = Rs.700

Remaining amount = 1840 - 700 = 1140

So, Rs 1140 cannot be paid in the combination of ₹50 and ₹10.

3. 20 notes of ₹10 are used and the remaining are in the denominations of ₹50 and ₹20.

20 notes of ₹10 = Rs. 200

Remaining amount = 1640

So, Rs 1640 can be paid in the combination of  28 notes of ₹50 and 12 notes of ₹20 But 50 notes were used in question.

Neither of the options are correct

Hence, option 4 is correct.
