- O negative blood group is universal donor because anyone can receive the red blood cell from their donation.
- O Negative :- 7% population are o negative blood group people of any blood type can receive it.
- AB+ :- Just 2% donor have AB-positive blood MAKING it one of the rarest blood type in the country
- O+ :- O positive people can donate blood to people with any positive blood type
- B+ :- this blood contain both RH and B antigen. B+ red blood cell can be given to both B+ and AB+ patients.
- Receiving blood that is incompatible with your blood type could trigger a dangerous immune response.
- Special care is also taken during blood transfusion like flow rate, patient condition and health education.
