An integer is a number with no decimal or fractional part, from the set of negative and positive numbers, including zero. In Mathematics, integers are the collection of whole numbers and negative numbers. Similar to whole numbers, integers also do not include the fractional part.

The total value of the negative integer depends on two things:
- One is the magnitude second
- One is the negative sign
If the sign is removed the value of the number increases many numbers of times.
So sign also plays an important role in the case of mainly negative integers.
So it would be better to say that the concept of a negative integer depends on the magnitude and the sign.

Hence The statement "The concept of a "negative integer" is based only on the "magnitude" of the number" is wrong for the given mathematical concept. On the other hand, all the remaining statements are true as per the rules laid in mathematics regarding those topics and concepts.
