In infrared photography, we desire to see the interaction by way of reflected energy from one particular subject. Wide spectrum of radiation reflects the wide spectrum of energies and acceleration that occur even at a single temperature. This leads to radiation peaks at a wide range which passes more information to the sensor and forms the basis of infrared photography.
