Option 4 : The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI)

Oil Zapper technique is used to clean the oil split by using a bacteria which is used for bioremediation process. Oil zapper reacts with hydrocarbon material present in oil sludge ( A dangerous waste produced by oil refineries) and converts them into harmless CO₂ and water.
This technique was developed by the Energy and Research Institute, Government of India.
