There are 30 bones in each forelimb of human body- Humerus (1), Radius and Ulna (2), Carpals (8), metacarpals (5), Phalanges (14). There are three phalanges in each finger and two for each thumb. Again there are 30 bones in the hind limb – Femur (1), Patella (1), Tibia and Fibula (2), Tarsals (7), metatarsals (5) and phalanges (14). The Femur is the strongest, largest and heaviest bone in the human skeleton.
