Collagenous fibre s- These fibres are colorless and hyaline. They are white in colour. These fibres can be stained by eosin. Examples are- Bone, Cartilage, Ligament, and tendon.

Elastin fibres- These fibres are made from fibre protein. They are less numerous, thinner, branched, anastomosing, and of a pale yellow colour. They are stained by orcein.

Reticulin fibres- These fibres are delicate, freely branching and inelastic fibres of reticulin protein. They are existing in eyebrows, newborns and help to regenerate wounds. They are stained with Argentophilic.
