The Greek ambassador named Heliodorus set up a pillar in honour of Vasudeva near Vidsha in Madhya Pradesh. He was an ambassador in the court of Shunga King Bhagabhadra. The pillar had a sculpture of Garuda on the top and was dedicated to lord Vasudeva.
