Quit India Movement was launched by Mahatma Gandhi on 8th August 1942, demanding to end the British Raj from India.

PM Modi described this month as the month of revolution as on August 1, 1920 non-cooperation movement was launched, on August 8, 1942, and finally on August 15, 1947, India finally got independence.

Through Sankalp se Siddhi, PM Modi calls on people to take a pledge to make India free from poverty, corruption, discrimination, terrorism, etc.
