Option 3 : 230

If the weight of all the boxes are added: 100 + 70 + 50 + 90 = 310 kg

If the weight of the 1^st, 2^nd and the 4^th box is added: 100 + 70 + 90 = 260 kg

If the weight of 2^nd, 3^rd, and the 4^th box is added: 70 + 50 + 90 = 210 kg

Hence, by elimination method we can eliminate three options i.e. 310, 260 and 210.

Therefore, 230 is the correct answer.
