Option 2 : Rs. 392

Area of four walls = 2(l + b) × h

⇒ 2(14 + 12) × 3.5 = 182 sqm

Area of 2 windows and a door = 2 × 3/2 × 2 + 3 × 8/3 = 14 sqm

∴ Area of 4 walls that need to be prepared with paper = 182 – 14 = 168 sqm

Length of the paper = 168/0.3 = 560 mtr

Cost of preparing the walls with paper = 560 × (70/100) = Rs. 392
