Rayon is termed as a 'regenerated fibre' as cellulose which is the original raw material is completely broken down and then reformed to create rayon.
Nylon fibres are used to make ponchos, tires, tents etc. and they are not regenerated fibres.
Terrylene is a synthetic polyester fibre and it was the first ever polyester fabric to be produced.
Polyester is a polymer that contains the ester group in the main chain and it is a very durable fibre.
