- A person voluntarily acquiring citizenship of foreign state not to be citizens of India.
- No person shall be the citizen of India if he voluntarily acquires foreign citizenship according to article 9.

- The continuance of the rights of citizens.
- Every person who is or deemed to be the citizen India shall continue to be such citizen, subject to the provisions of any law made by the parliament according to article 10.
