II) During the UPA government, Scindia has been inducted in the Union council of ministers as the minister of state for communications and information technology in 2008.- this sentence is grammatically incorrect because of incorrect tense usage, here we have used present perfect which is wrong because the event happened in the late past + point of time is given (i.e. 2008). So we should use simple past, 'has been inducted' will be replaced with 'was inducted'.

Hence, Option 4 is the correct answer.
