Considering statement 1

Take speed of both boats = x m/s

Considering statement 2

Rate of flow of water = 5 m/s

Considering statement 3

Distance between A and C = 1000 m and distance between C and B = 500 m

C is the point where they meet

Time taken by Boat 1 to reach at C point = 1000/(x + 5) {Downstream Flow}

Time taken by Boat 2 to reach at C point = 500/(x – 5) {Upstream Flow}

⇒ 1000/(x + 5) = 500/(x – 5)

⇒ x = 15 m/s

All the variables are known now, which are required to answer the question using all 3 statements

∴ All the statements are sufficient to answer the question.
