Option 2 : Rs. 450

Let CP of each chair be 100x

Equivalent discount offered = 20 + 10 – (20 × 10)/100 = 28%

SP of both the chair when purchased together = (100 – 28)% of 200x = 144x

SP of both the chair when purchased one by one = 75% of 200x = 150x

According to the question,

150x – 144x = 27

⇒ x = 4.5

∴ Price of one chair = 100x = Rs. 450
