Option 1 : CABD

Since the first sentence of the paragraph is already given to us, it becomes easy to find the next part as it would link to the first. Similarly, we will keep linking the given parts to form a coherent paragraph.

After reading these parts we come to know that the paragraph is about ‘a true friend’. Part A and part C both can interchangeably be used as part second and third. Since the sequence of the other two parts is wrong in option (c), therefore we have taken option (a) as the correct answer. Since part D is not an independent one, it will be preceded by part B and thus both the parts will complete each other.

Thus, option (a) is the correct answer.

Coherent sentence- ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed! A true friend will be one who will stay by your side at all times. A real friend stays by you through thick and thin. A true friend should be cherished and whose friendship should be safeguarded. Losing a true friend is like losing a treasure’.
