Option 1 : 75%

5/8^th part = 5/8 × 100 = 62.5%

∴ 62.5% of a container is filled with milk;

Suppose the capacity of each vessel is ‘x’ litre

∴ Capacity of the container = 5x litres

∴ Quantity of milk in the container = (0.625) × 5x = 3.125x litres

Since the milk in the container is transferred into the vessels in the ratio 3 ∶ 4 ∶ 5 ∶ 6 ∶ 7 respectively;

∴ Quantity of milk in the vessel D = 6/25 × 3.125x = 0.75x

Since the capacity of each vessel is ‘x’ litres∶

∴ Percentage capacity of vessel D in which milk is filled = × 100 = 75%
