As we know,

Volume of cube = a3

Three cubes of iron whose edges are 6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm.

Let the edge of bigger cube be A

Volume of cube of bigger cube = Sum of volume of all three cubes

A3 = 63 + 83 + 103 = 216 + 512 + 1000 = 1728

⇒ A = ∛1728

⇒ A = 12

∴ Edge of bigger cube = 12 cm
