According to the statement;

On the right side of Pallavi, there are 20 girls.

On left, girls between Reena and Pallavi is 9.

Malini is 17th from the left and fourth right of Reena, this means Reena is 17 - 4 = 13th from left.

So there are 9 + 13 = 22 girls in the left of Pallavi.

Total girls in row are girls on the left of pallavi + girls on the right of pallavi + pallavi self = 22 + 20 + 1

Hence there are 43 girls in row.
