যেসব রাসায়নিক পদার্থ ত্বকের সংস্পর্শে এলে ত্বককে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ করে সেই পদার্থগুলিকে উত্তেজক (Irritant) রাসায়নিক পদার্থ বলে। উত্তেজক রাসায়নিক পদার্থসমূহ হচ্ছে- সিমেন্ট গুড়া, লঘু এসিডের দ্রবণ , লঘু ক্ষারের দ্রবণ, সোপ পাউডার, বিরঞ্জক পদার্থ, ফরমালডিহাইড, ক্লোরোফরম, ক্লোরিন গ্যাস ইত্যাদি।
