POPULATION PROBLEM IN BANGLADESH composition দরকার?

Introduction: The population of a country is a blessing to her. But it becomes a curse when it grows very quickly and the people are not productive. Bangladesh is a small country. Her population is too much for her area. At present the population of our country is increasing rapidly. So population problem of our country is the burning’ question of the day. Dangers of over population: Over population is a great threat for our country. If our population grows at a high rate, our country will have to face a great problem. This will affect the economic development and progress of the country. The country would not be able to provide food, clothes, housing, educational facilities, medical facilities and other basic necessities of life to the excess of population. Causes of over population: There are many causes of over population in our country. Some of these are : (i) Ignorance: Most of the people of our country are not of family planning. They do not know about the problem of over population. So they do not take the measures to control birth through family planning. (ii) Superstitions: Religions superstitions obstruct our people in family planning or birth control. They believe that God will feed their children. (iii) Early marriage: Most of the boys and girls in the village area get married before they become matured. This early marriage is a special cause of high rate of population growth. (iv) Lack of female education: Women constitute half of the population of our country, but more than half of them are not educated. Uneducated woman are not aware of the negative effects of over population. Solution: To check the growth of over population the following measures should be taken: Firstly, the high birth rate of population has to be checked through the family planning. Secondly, we have to make campaign to educate mass people. It will help them to underhand the value of by government law. People have to be aware about this. Various awareness-raising programmers should be taken to make the people eager to stop the high growth rate of population. Conclusion: Population problem is, indeed, a great problem of our country. So we all sound play a role to cheek the growth of population to save the country.

Bangladesh Became independent only a few years ago. It is a small country as well as a developing country. It faced with many problems. Now it is a national problem. Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Her population is increasing day by day. It has become a serious problem for us. This problem is now out of control. Though Bangladesh is a small country, it has huge population. The land area of Bangladesh is less than her vast population. About 850 people live per square kilometer here. For this reason, Bangladesh in considered as over populated country. The population in our country is increasing in an alarming rate. There are many reasons of increasing population in our country. The main reasons of increasing population are ignorance, superstitions, early marriage and lack of female education. Most of the people of our country are illiterate. They do not know about the problems of over population. Because of being illiterate, they are not aware of family planning. Besides, religious superstitions obstruct our people in taking family planning. Early marriage is also responsible for increasing population. Over population creates many problems. Overpopulation growth has many negative effects on our life and existence. It hampers our economic progress. It also pollutes our environment. Though population is an asset of a country, it has now become a burden for our country. It creates the problem of food, shelter, health, nutrition, unemployment, treatment, communication etc. Over population obstructs to our national development. The country will fall in acute poverty and people will lead very unhappy and miserable life in near future if it is not controlled. It should inspire our people to adopt family planning. Our womenfolk should be educated. However, we must come forward to control this over growth of population. We should take some measures to control it. People should make aware of adopting family planning. Our people must be educated. If they are educated, they will surely try to keep their families planned. Mass media like radio, television and newspaper can play a vital role in this regard. For this, all the people of Bangladesh and the government should join hands to control this population growth at any cost.
