Once there lived a hare in a forest. He
 was always proud of speed. A tortoise also 
lived there. The hare always teased the tortoise 
for its slow speed. One day, the hare was walking. Suddenly he saw the tortoise. It was moving very slowly. He laughed at it saying- "Hurry up, you are
 so slow! Can't you move a little faster?" The tortoise felt angry and said, "Why don't we run a race and 
see who wins?" The hare laughed even more and
 said." Why not, let's do that." The next morning, 
they started their race. The hare ran so faster
 that the tortoise remained far behind.

একদা এক খরগোশ একটি বনে বাস করতেন। সে সময় তার দ্রুত চলার গর্ব করত। একটি কচ্ছপ ও ওখানে বাস করতো। খরগোশটি সবসময় তাকে খেপাত তার ধীরে হাটার কারনে।একদিন খরগোশটি হাটছিল। হঠাৎ সে কচ্ছপ কে দেখতে পেল, এটা ছিল মুভি,দ্রুত চল,তুমি খুবই ধীর। তুমি এগিয়ে যেতে পারবানা এই ধীরে হাটার জন্য। কচ্ছপটি খুবই রাগান্বিত হল এবং বলল, কেন পারবোনা আমরা একটি দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতা এবং দেখি কে জয় লাভ করে? খরগোশটি অনেক্ষন হাসলো এবং বলল কেন নয়, তাহলে হয়ে যাক।পরের সাপ্তাহ তারা তাদের দৌড় শুরু করল।যদিও খরগোশটি অনেক দ্রুত চলে কিন্তু কচ্ছপটি তাকে অনেক দূরে পেলে চলে আসল
