Dosage
Adults: Usually 2 tablets orally daily in the morning and noon. In severe cases, the morning dose may be increased to 2 tablets.Elderly patients: 1 tablet in the morning.
Maintenance dose: Usually 1 tablet orally in the morning. In cases of insomnia or severe restlessness, additional treatment with a sedative in the acute phase is recommended.
The recommended dose of Flupentixol + Melitracen is 20 mg of flupentixol and 10 mg of melitracen per day. The dose can be increased up to 40 mg of flupentixol and 20 mg of melitracen per day. It is important to begin therapy at a low dose and to titrate upwards carefully to avoid side effects.
