Mechanism of Action

Zopilone Tablet 1 mg works by binding to GABA-A receptors in the brain and is believed to interact with the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This binding to the GABA-A receptors helps to reduce the amount of neuronal activity in the brain and as a result can induce sleep.
