Introduction

How Long Does it Take to Work?

Parkitrol Tablet 5 mg generally takes 3 to 6 weeks to begin to experience the beneficial effects of the drug. Once the drug has begun to work, the benefits should be sustained until the dosage is gradually reduced or stopped.

Absorption

Parkitrol Tablet 5 mg is rapidly and almost completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract following oral administration.

Dosage

The recommended starting dose of Parkitrol Tablet 5 mg is 2 mg taken two to three times daily. The maximum daily dose is 8 mg to 12 mg per day.

Administration
