Mechanism of Action

In cells, Chirolin Capsule 500 mg is converted to several messenger molecules called inositides. These inositides can activate the protein kinase C family of proteins, which then increases insulin sensitivity. Chirolin Capsule 500 mg also increases the activity of other proteins, such as the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and the intracellular calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR). Together, these proteins lead to improved insulin sensitivity, increased glucose uptake, improved fatty acid oxidation, and improved cholesterol and triglyceride levels, all of which can help treat and prevent diabetes and obesity.
