Here,  2:25 pm to 3:15 pm = 50 minutes Time taken by bus = 50 - (30 + 10) = 10 minutes = 10/60 hour = 1/6 hour The man walked for = 30 minutes = 30/60 hour = 1/2 hour He walked = 3×1/2 = 3/2 miles So,  speed of the bus = 3/2 ÷ (1/6) = 9 miles per hour
