Direct Narration - এ Reported Speech যদি Interrogative sentence হয় তাহলে - Reporting verb - কে ask, demand , enquire wonder ইত্যাদিতে পরিবর্তন করে নিতে হয় ; - Question - এর উত্তর যদি ' yes' 'No' দিয়ে দেয়া সম্ভব হয় তাহলে Reported Speech - এর আগে conjunction if এবং ক্ষেত্র বিশেষে ' whether' বসে। - Reported Speech কে Indirect করার সময় Assertive করে নিতে হবে। খ ও গ - এর option দুটিতে Reported Speech - কে present form - এ রাখা হয়েছে। কিন্তু, যেহেতু Reporting speech past form - এ রয়েছে সেহেতু অবশ্যই Reported Speech কেও past form করতে হবে। আবার (ঘ) নং option - এ অনর্থক 'had been' ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে , যা দ্বারা বোঝাচ্ছে অতীতে চাকরিটি পেয়ে আমি খুশি হয়েছিলাম কিনা সুতরাং এটিও সঠিক নয়। অতএব সঠিক হচ্ছে (ক) ।
