প্রশ্নে  বলা হচ্ছে - 300km  দূরবর্তী দুটি স্থানে দুটি বাইকার পরস্পরের দিকে একই সময় রওনা দিল। একটি স্টেশন হতে 130km  দূরে তারা মিলিত হলে তাদের গতিবেগের অনুপাত কত?   ধরি, প্রতম বাইকার অতিক্রম করে = 130 km ∴ দ্বিতীয় বাইকার অতিক্রম করে = 300 - 130 = 170 km  আমরা জানি, t = d/v এখন ধরি, প্রথমজনের গতিবেগ v1 এবং দ্বিতীয় জনের গতিবেগ v2 ∴ সময় একই চলে বলে , d1/v1 = d2/v2 বা = 130/v1 = 170/v2 বা v2/v1 = 170/130 = 17/13 v2:v1 = 17:13
