পটাশিয়াম গুয়াইয়াকল এ আছে Potassium Guaiacol Sulphonate 125 mg/5 ml। পটাশিয়াম গুয়াইয়াকল খাওয়ার নিয়ম নিম্নরূপঃ
Adult: 1 to 2 teaspoonful 2-4 times daily is the usual dose.
Mild irritation of the bronchial mucus membrane.
Some medical conditions may interact with guaifenesin/potassium guaiacolsulfonate: Pregnancy or breast-feeding. If chronic cough that occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, or if cough occurs with large amounts of mucus.
Pregnancy Category C. Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks
Hypersensitivity.
