কেরাটোকনজাংটিভাইটিস সিক্কাসহ চোখের শুষ্কতাজনিত লক্ষণসমূহের চিকিৎসায় নির্দেশিত। এছাড়া চোখের অপর্যাপ্ত আর্দ্রতা ও অস্থায়ী টিয়ার ফিল্মে টিয়ার ফ্লুইডের বিকল্প হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Povidone is an almost colorless, clear aqueous solution administered in the form of drops. After topical application Povidone eye drops spreads rapidly over the conjunctiva and cornea forming a lubricating and protective film. The composition of this eye drops, containing the active compound Povidone and the electrolytes magnesium, potassium and sodium, is very similar to natural tears
আরটিয়ার এ আছে Povidone Iodine (Eye Drop) 5%। আরটিয়ার খাওয়ার নিয়ম নিম্নরূপঃ
এক ফোটা করে দিনে চার বার, রােগের তীব্রতা অনুসারে প্রয়ােজনীয় মাত্রায় কনজাংটিভাল স্যাকে দিতে হবে।
কখনও কখনও মৃদু ও সাময়িক চোখজলা ও আঁঠালাে অনুভূতি দেখা দিতে পারে। কদাচিৎ জ্বালাপােড়া ও সংবেদনশীল বিক্রিয়া দেখা দিতে পারে।
In case of any additional local ocular treatment e.g. glaucoma therapy there should be an application interval of at least 5 minutes between the two medications. Protear always should be the last medication instilled.
গর্ভাবস্থায় ও স্তন্যদানকালে ওষুধটি ব্যবহারের নিরাপদ কিনা সে সম্পর্কে পর্যাপ্ত কোন তথ্য জানা নেই। অতি আবশ্যক না হলে ব্যবহার করা উচিত নয়।
এর যে কোন উপাদানের প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীল রােগীদের ক্ষেত্রে নির্দেশিত নয়।
Store at room temperature. It is desirable that the contents should not be used more than 4 weeks after first opening of the bottle.
